i'm introducing another new category to my site today: nailed. nailed will feature manicures of either one brand, a story or a nail trend. for my very first nailed post i brought on the talented dee daly to work her skills in creating looks featuring essence nail polish. incorporating fall 2013's nail trends dee created some fun manicures using different techniques and effects. to showcase these nail looks i decided to have the model's hands emerging from pools of various hardware. i wanted to part from the usual "hands in the air holding stuff" poses, not that i see anything wrong with them but more because i just did one recently for a summer editorial.
